No Vehicle Day & Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Tribute Program

As part of our ongoing commitment to social awareness and public well-being, Mitan Social Service actively participated in the No Vehicle Day and Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Tribute Program. The initiative aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, environmental responsibility, and awareness against substance abuse through community participation and youth engagement.

The program was organized with a strong focus on reducing pollution, encouraging non-motorized transport, and spreading the message of a drug-free society. A large number of citizens, students, volunteers, and community leaders joined the event, making it impactful and inspiring.

A cycle rally was conducted across key areas of the city to promote the message of “No Vehicle Day”, encouraging people to reduce the use of motor vehicles and adopt eco-friendly alternatives like cycling and walking. The rally symbolized collective responsibility toward a cleaner and healthier environment.

Alongside the rally, an anti-drug awareness campaign was organized under the theme “Fight Against Drugs”. Participants took a public pledge to stay away from drugs and to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse, especially among youth.

The event also included a tribute ceremony honoring Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh, remembering his sacrifice and inspiring citizens to follow the path of courage, discipline, and social responsibility. Distinguished guests and community representatives were felicitated for their contribution to social causes.
