Awareness Stall on Organic Waste Management Displayed at National Consultative Workshop, Naya Raipur -

Mitan Social Service Organization actively participated in the National Consultative Workshop on Used Water and Faecal Sludge Management Systems, organised at Hotel Mayfair Lakeview, Naya Raipur.

During the workshop, an awareness and demonstration stall was set up to educate participants about organic waste management, composting practices, and responsible waste segregation under the Swachh Bharat Mission.

♻️ Focus of the Awareness Stall

The stall highlighted practical and eco-friendly solutions for managing organic and household waste, including:

Segregation of organic and inorganic waste
Composting of kitchen and garden waste
Use of green bins for organic waste collection
Reduction of landfill waste through composting
Promotion of “Our Waste, Our Responsibility” concept

Visual charts and live displays were used to explain the process flow of organic food scraps into compost, making the concept easy to understand for visitors.
